The Sharon Companies, Ltd. specializes in architectural metal products precisely designed, engineered, and manufactured to meet your building needs for steel stair and rail systems. The Sharon Drop-in™ Stair system has been specified and installed by architects and contractors for over four decades in projects nationwide. Today’s construction marketplace imposes greater demands on architects, construction managers and building owners than ever before. The Sharon Companies, Ltd. continues to meet these challenges through our pioneered Drop-In™ Stair system design.
Founded in 1963, Sharon has recently outgrown its legacy manufacturing facilities and has
consolidated all its fabrication and office functions into a brand new state-of-the-art facility with
over 200,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space, more than doubling its previous combined size.
Now located in Akron, Ohio, the new Sharon facility is conveniently positioned at the intersection of two
main interstate highways. The new Akron plant has been equipped with all new fabrication equipment and will
utilize advanced manufacturing methods and state of the art technology to increase production output and efficiency
to meet today’s growing needs.
